Australian Scram!

Do I stutter?

Aliantha 04-06-2013 11:03 PM

Are you trying to get rid of us foot?

ZenGum 04-07-2013 06:05 AM

Hell no, we'd rather give up TV.

FIFY

(Just kidding, TW is more entertaining than TV so we couldn't give him up.)

Australian scran, shurely?
Show us some snags on the barbie, peoples.

Or pref some seafood. I've gone fish-crazy this last week.
Anchovies, prawns (shrimp), crabmeat, trout, sardines, tuna.
My body is either craving protein or I have become a selkie child after being exposed to the seals on Arran.

Could be the omega 3's your body wants. Those fishy oils are pretty important. ;)

It's a reasonable assumption, yes.
But my body really wants alcohol, so I'm not sure I can trust it ;)

Had to forcibly remove myself from the fish aisle in the supermarket yesterday.
I have plenty of fish at home.
I wasn't so persuasive about the cheese though. I am eating it in small quantities, but my mouth seems to have dictated that it needs lots of different flavours available.

Tailpost - bought some more fish today. Just for snackies.

Morrisons do a mixed seafood dipper. It's a small container of seafood with a lemon mayonnaise dip.
I barely touched the dip (which is the bit with all the calories after all) but loved the fishy-fishy-fish bit.
No tentacles this time - mussels, prawns, bits of "crab" sticks. All safe and bland. But still fish.

Making crispy duck for Mum and me tomorrow.
Just got to work out how...
Well, duck legs are 1/2 price in Sainsbury's at the moment. £2 for two portions sounds too good to pass up.
Can't freeze any - the freezer is officially full. I went to add bagels yesterday and had to rearrange the whole chest in order to fit them in. Turns out Mum & Dad buy like starving Syrians whenever they get a taxi home from the supermarket. Just in case.

Sez me who comes home with six different types of soft drink because supermarkets always make me thirsty...
