My Knives & Other Weapons
 

Being sick has given me time to work on my knife making skills. My knapping is improving since I bought a jig and some Ishi sticks.

Here's an obsidian blade mounted in caribou

Next I have 3 knives mounted in coyote bone (I like working with the jaws). The bottom knife is dalcite mounted in mule deer with a stain

Finally, I have knives mounted in elk. Can you see the Damascus blade?

Yes. What's the story with the damascus blade?

They all look nice, although that one jaw doesn't look comfortable to hold.

I did. My brain is tired and sad and hallucinating. But at least it's hallucinating funny stuff.

Thanks. I mainly trade them for guns or other knives. Making them is a form of therapy with my tremors. The Damascus blade I traded for and made a patch knife. Coyote jaws are actually very comfortable
