I can't right now. I was off a couple days for my back. Then I was in Goofyland and was off a week and a half.

Maybe, just maybe, if this stuff gets smoothed out I will put in for some time. I really do need it.

It's your vacation, you're entitled and you CAN take it right now. Tell them you need it and you're taking it. If they fire you..... WIN. You can sue their asses of and get unemployment..

Monster is right. Also by not taking the vacation you are personally buying in to their crazyass idea that the place can't run without you.
You and they have to learn that you are not the person who does everything around there. The best way for that to happen is by you taking the vacation that is YOUR ENTITLEMENT.
Also, though I don't know US employment law, Monster's last line looks pretty convincing to me.
Please take your vacation time. You need it for the good of your health. You deserve it. You've earned it. It is yours by right.

I had a good week and i feel a lot better. With what i accomplished lately i just may take a long weekend soon. :)
