JBKlyde 12-06-2012 11:14 PM

A pyramid is the type of relationships I usually find myself in. There's Star number One (the boy) and Star number two (the girl he really loves) and then ME (star nobody) whom the boy uses to get Star two to love him back.

it's as old as the rocky hills, but there it is. The pyramid.

ZenGum 12-10-2012 06:11 PM

... and it's all because of how he felt about his mummy.

Is that what it's called?

footfootfoot 12-11-2012 06:23 PM

Actually, I think a love triangle is A > B > C > A

Kind of like an unrequited menage a trois.

I think what you have is just bad judgement when it comes to men. Present company excluded, of course.

I see that; but I also think a love triangle could be a relationship between two people who absolutely MUST draw a third person into the conflict for some reason or other. MUST have that third person as a scapegoat or to put on a pedestal or to do a three-way with then talk about that person behind their back....I dunno. Some people just like the drama of the Other that can be blamed or worshiped or ignored, due to how the two main characters are feeling that moment. I'm usually that kind of third.

And I'm not getting any better at picking men to admire. Currently, I admire Dexter. If he were a real person....we'd be together, gleefullly killing everyone we deemed kill-worthy (stick to the code!)
