Too big. Nice pic tho.

You could always reduce it in size your end ... that way you won't see any artifacting ;)

(slang scratches his head in confusion) What I meant was the larger pictures distort the browser as I view them. Only half of the pic shows up without adjusting the slidebar over. This confuses and frustrates slang due to his low level computer skills. There are a few other people I've mentioned that to in the past.

Aside from that, you are a new member and I want to encourage people to come here and post/comment freely without some asshat such as me inhibiting them.

In the perfect slang world, all posted pics would be no larger than 640 x 480. Since I don't rule the world (yet), you post as you have been and I'll untwist my knickers and relax if I want to view them. :)

My apologies (don't worry, I'm British, we apologise alot here ;) ) I could do several resolutions if you want :p :D or you could buy a bigger monitor <giggle>

I thought you all had Photoshop in here :)

Well most of us in this forum do, but we don't want to spend time on our end doing what you should have done on your end.

Besides, attaching too many images sucks up the site bandwidth, and I promised Undertoad that wouldn't happen when we started the forum. If you can find your own host that would be appreciated. (This is not directed at you specifically but it is becoming more prevalent.)

[/moderator hat off]

Chris MC 02-10-2003 09:39 PM

Ooops! Sorry, I didn't think about the bandwidth :(

slang 02-10-2003 09:58 PM

I don't have a band. Does my width really matter when I post?

Spreadin' the Gospel. It can open quite a few .psd files I've tried.

Sorry 'bout that. I'm typically set at 1280x1024, so I don't get browser warp too often...

Sorry 'bout that, too. Fixed.

I'll host images <b>for this site only</b>. Keep 'em to under a meg, JPEG. For the time being, email them to imagehost@gaveup.org - I'll get an anonftp set up after I get home.

dave 02-11-2003 09:04 AM

Oh yeah, and all desktops should be in the following two resolutions, at least:

1600x1200
1280x854 (widescreen - I don't care if you have to crop it, just get the good stuff in)
