I 'rewound' and watched it twice last night!

I didn't see/hear Mrs Romney's speech, but talking-heads are saying
she did an excellent job of introducing Mitt Romney to the nation.

Maybe you should vote for the first lady, and let her pick the president.

We already have an electoral college to do that.

We are here to nominate a President, and I have one in mind.

That was a very good speech. Props.

As I expected, Bill knocked it out of the park!

Joe Biden's speech may not have been the best of all speeches, but he got to me.

I bought into Biden's persona during his '72 campaign.
During an outdoor press interview, he answered questions and I liked his answers.
But what sold me was his unconscious caressing of his son's head and face while he talked.
As a young father, I recognized a man who truly loved his son.

It's hard to believe that back then, a politician could be forced out
of his campaign for some plagiarized lines in his speeches.
I was so disappointed when he dropped out.

In any case, tonight one part of his speech did get to me again.
When he said (in so many words):

For some people... a job is only a paycheck, and a paycheck is only $.
