My new eco-friendly car

I bought a new (new to me) car today. It is eco friendly and runs on bio diesel or just about anything else. I ended up with a 1969 Kaiser Jeep M35a2 (Deuce), multi-fuel with a a metal cargo box. I'm going to convert it into a camper. The great thing is I can drive it just about anywhere after I add the deep water fording kit. Plus, I have a winch that can pull down a house!

AWESOME!

Is there another one like it, 'cause Zippy needs to replace the Riverpig.

In fact, for your camper conversion, Zippy may have some parts ... in Arkanas ... :right:

And thanks for checking in, I was wondering how you were going.

I'm getting ready to go to Camp Shelby in about a week for some more duty. My unit has really been great providing me with work.

That's a serious vehicle! You could build a small house on the back.

Awesome Sarge!

Now I want one too!

Congrats, Sarge. It looks... formidable.

What's it get, about four gallons to the mile?

Lamplighter 08-01-2012 04:12 PM

:)

... per axle

Happy Monkey 08-01-2012 04:32 PM

Depends on what sort of "anything else" you put in the tank.

Well, since it is a second-hand vehicle, it's already doing well. It takes a lot of energy and resources to make a new car - even a prius.

And if he does run it on biodiesel, it would be greenhouse neutral. And smell like a chip shop.

BigV 08-02-2012 10:58 AM

<-- extremely jealous.
