How Old Is Your Brain
Here's a test to see if your brain is older or younger than your body.

'pparently, my brain is 10years younger than the rest of me.
|
My brain age is 65. I guess I really am an old fart.
|
My brain age is 7 years older than I am.
But I have just been down the pub with Dad for a boozy Father's Day lunch. And I completely fucked up the anagrams by not having the letters in exactly the right place in the box. It was showing as incorrect and I couldn't for the life of me work out what else it could be. There was nothing else it could be, it was just not properly aligned. Stooopid young whippersnapper game. |
well i bought four liters of wine last night (even if i didnt finish ALL of it) so we'll see how old my hung-over brain is?
|
...34. Man. Alcohol sure is a bitch ain't she.
edit: to be fair i blame my fuckin' apple magic mouse at least a bit, it's not designed for that kinda quick action. i swear i clicked twice as many stars as i got credit for. theres a reason i always switch to a corded proper mouse for like video games. |
39. WooHoo!
|
My Brain Age is ten years younger than my actual age.
:cheerldr: |
Fuck the yellow stars.
|
I forgot to add my brain is 21 years younger than my body... and yes, fuck the yellow stars.
|
My brain age is 31. Actual age is 51. Hmm.
And yes, fuck the yellow stars. |
I scored very well, but I don't understand the criteria. Is this from a "legit" source?
I question almost every type of "brain measurement" or the accompanying catch-all descriptors like "age" of your brain. Of course I couldn't be arsed to actually read the page, but I can think of half a dozen meaning for brain "age" and every measure would be different. What it all boils down to, for me, is that people can be vastly different. Different learning styles, different thinking styles, certainly very different ways of expressing meaning, or deriving meaning from context. We're all so different. How can that be, you ask--given our common DNA and ties of culture, education and language? Well I think the human being is an "adaptability machine" --what we do is improvise, specialize, and make up new things. As many new things as there are people. How can you measure people against each other? |
As long as you only take it for what it is - a stupid fun little quiz test competition thing - youre fine. You're overthinking it, a bit, I think, flint: taking a stupid internet quiz even the littlest bit seriously.
|
Mine was 3yrs older than my actual age. The stars killed me, mostly cause I'm not using a mouse, so it was a bit tough on a touch pad. Everything else was pretty close.
|
@Ibram: Why bother making it if it has no purpose? I didn't see any ads--what is their ulterior motive? Someone had to sit down and create that page. The reason? At face value it is the reason that is stated. Other options I can think of are... I can't think of any.
Maybe it's a study to test whether people will take purposeless quizzes? That's even more over-thought. Things must have a purpose. |
