Not Good for File Swappers...
This sucks. The RIAA has already announced that they are going to try and bleed money from ISPs since they've decided that up to 75% of people who have broadband share files. Now it appears to me that they're going to pursue criminal prosecution as well, and they're happy to pursue it via a current judicial system that doesn't mind circumventing a few other legalities to let them do it.

The RIAA already had this one in their pocket, as evidenced by his use of the term "copyright theft" (which is NOT a legal term) in the decision. |
