i did put subliminal in scare quotes for a reason. I dont buy that it's honestly subliminal or intended to have subliminal effects, but still. It still calls obama a sworn enemy of america. what the fuck.

It's the most sentimentalized piece of crap ad I think I've ever seen. It doesn't even need subliminal, it's screaming for the hearts of the stupid and easily led.

There are some people who already feel this way. Santorum was showing how much of a good ol' boy he is down at the shooting range. As he opened fire on the targets down range, a woman in the audience, off camera, says "Pretend it's Obama!".

Seriously? Yeah, seriously.

Santorum, to his credit, disavowed the shouts.

I'm glad to hear Santorum didn't play into it, but that comment is indicative of a certain frame of mind of many of his supporters.
