Beaver
3 Attachment(s)
I was coming home the other night, and had to cross a flatbridge. (It's a bridge, and it's flat) And who did I happen to see, but, Bizet Teh Beaver. Bizet looked to about some business or other, and I let him go about his bidness.
I'm wondering if he has set up house under the concrete piles...Footing there is treacherous in daylight, so I wasn't going looking. I should note this is inside the city limits, less than a mile from my house. Attachment 37118 Attachment 37119 Attachment 37120 |
Good catch photo wise!
And good on you, letting him be. I adore Carmen. |
Was that lit just with a flash? Headlights?

You have beavers that make concrete dams? Damn!

Well, that was disappointing for a Gravdigr thread titled "beaver". :right:
Seriously, I think it is really cool when animals move in to urban environments, and it cheers me up to think that even though we are here and building bridges and stuff, it is still biologically clean enough that critters can live amongst us. |
This could also qualify as a WTF image...

The second two were only abut 12-15 feet, so the flash was almost sufficient. I brightened those two a good bit also. I missed the good shot, when he was out on the bridge in my headlights, while fumbling for my camera. |
