The Cellar - A poetry experiment

I was looking through an external hardrive at some old documents and discovered a half-done piece called 'Poetry experiment - Wendel'

Wtf? I don;t remember that....do I?

Read it and did remember writing it. Trouble is I cannot remember anything about the ideas behind it. I know I was doing it stream of consciousness and had a vague story in mind, but the life of me I cannnot recall what it was...

So. Here ya go peeps. Since I don't remember where it was going, I'll throw it open to the other creatives on here. Any ideas on where it should go? Write the rest if you feel inspired. Or a line, or two.

and the order of decay was lying heavy in his heart.
He left his keys in his coat pocket, slipped the latch back on the door and

Outside sunshine blistered and the birds were all aflutter,
