More Misery of Others...

I'm given to understand that personal watercraft and SUVs are considered by some to be signs of conspicuous consumption (not by me, I'll take one of each, thanks), so the following series of pics might be seen as a sort of Karma by such Liberal types...

Were they really trying to launch this thing from the back of the vehicle? I don't see a trailer, so I can only assume.
heheh. funny.

Yep...hard to believe the owner could have been bright enough to have gainful employment sufficient to purchase these vehicles, yet still be thick enough to end up with his SUV submerged.

I thought the other guy that said "aahh FF,shit...oohh God I'm sorry" was much funnier.

I wonder what the SUV guy was saying as it was sliding under water.

Let me guess...that happened in MO, right? :)

Uryoces 01-10-2003 06:42 PM

It's still a perfectly good SUV. A Submerged Utility Vehicle.

I'm afraid that the location wasn't specified, but it wouldn't surprise me at all...there's a goodish sized Corps of Engineers lake about 1/4 mile down the hill from my house, and the local yayhoos do some fairly impressive stupidity tricks thereon.

I think it was one of Jeff Foxworthy's routines: "Hey guys, watch this!"

Nothing But Net 01-11-2003 07:06 AM

Laugh if you want..

but my (and I hope, your) insurance premiums are going to buy this waste of breath a new boat.

When karyn got saved I lost all hope for humanity

These guys are going to lose their PWC if they don't get someone on it. Not that they'd be able to get it home, but you can still enjoy a day on the lake.

I just don't understand how the hell they did it. What, was it in neutral or something? I don't see anyone like running for the front to hit the breaks. I wonder just how far back that sucker rolled...

[edit]
And look again at the second picture. Did they all pile through the back hatch trying to hit the breaks? It looks like a bunch are inside then. Lucky they didn't drown in there. That's amusing as hell.

Quzah.
