I was thinking Filipino too, but I thought I saw "oui" written a\on the wall, which would be French, (which could be consistent with a Catholic ex-French-colony) and started pondering Africa, South-East Asia or the Caribbean ... then I followed the link.

Okay, it's old Jerusalem, and that writing is probably Arabic or Hebrew. The nuns are probably visiting pilgrims or something.
