a) never have that idea in the first place.
b) It would take me days of shopping and re-shopping.
c) it would NEVER look that good when done.

Heck, I'd probably end up pissed off with a rag to store under my lawnmower in the winter,
multiple cuts and bruises and lastly, nothing for my kid.

Skyline is the name of Hebe's School. Her blanket was teh envi :D. I did not put swim and dive on it (a) because I had no time and (b) so I don't have to add polo when it's polo season and when she goes to watch the football, she can pretend it's just for that.....

thanks all for your compliments. I am pleased with it, but it kind of was something I just threw together -maybe it's a Michigan thing but everyone makes these -for teams and families. We made one for each of us when Hancock's fabrics went out of business and sold off fleece, then we made 5 to donate in return for 5 disney tickets, we made one for banana lady on Christmas..... must be a snow state thing. It's often a community thing/group project.

This one was a surprise for Hebe, though, because she asked me to drive her instead of getting the bus because she was taking her blanket and I thought :litebulb: what a great way to show her that I really do think she's awesome and special for making it to States.... and she love sit, so I'm a happy (and very tired) mama

She swam well, but did not make finals tomorrow, by the way.
