glo·cal·i·za·tion/ˌglōkələˈzāSHən/
Noun: The practice of conducting business according to both local and global considerations. McDonalds Indian Menu As you know India is very big on the cow worship, and even though Mcdonalds is a multinational conglomerate specializing in beef products, they have removed beef on their Indian menu so no cows were harmed in the making of this menu. |

WTF is a McAlooTikki?
|
Aloo is potato.
|
The McDonalds before you get on the bridge onto Mount Desert Island in Maine has McLobster Rolls on the menu.
No, I didn't. I was having actual lobster in actual lobster pounds. |
Quote:
Apparently aloo tikki is Indian potato pancakes. aloo paratha is something like a pita stuffed with potatoes and spices. |

I wonder if you're kidding in your OP chrisinhouston. But this glocalized shop's f'reals.
Wendy's in Russia. |
I've had a Bul go ki burger at a Korean McDonalds.
|
McD's in mainland Europe sell beer. I'm all for that.
BTW every McD in UK has veggie burger option. |
The BK's here do. I have a vegetarian friend. Whenever fast food is the dinner option, that's what she wants.
Of course, she could have the McFish or Fillet-0-Fish or whatever they call it, but she doesn't usually go with that. (she's an ovo-lacto-pisco vegetarian) |
Fish ain't vegetarian.

And yes, if you travel you get to see quite significant differences in McDonalds globally. I've posted about the fact UK McDonalds have a more health-conscious approach in the UK. We also have very different breakfasts. Interesting menu though. |
