China will continue to march forward with modernization of its military, holding down it currency, and becoming more of a radical and assertive influence in the areas it considers it's circle of influence in the China Sea, regardless of anything Obama says....

Another interesting assessment.

I thought human rights was one of the topics that will be discussed? It may be Hilary instead of Obama but the topic of China's imprisonment of Liu Xiaobo was brought up in almost every article I read about Hu's visit.
Either way, I feel that article is just a bunch of fear-mongering. China will be our biggest competitor in the upcoming century but as of right now I have major doubts that it will lead to a second cold war. We are too dependent on each other. |
I think you meant to say our I.O.Hu.'s are too big to fail.

Apparently many are is missing a problem that makes this meeting so important. Extremists on both sides have been ratcheting up the hate that would only end in war.
For example, when Sec of Defense Gates met with Hu, Gates mentioned China's new stealth plane that had flown just that day. Hu apparently had not even been told it exists. Extremists in the PLA routinely do not bother to tell the party what is ongoing. Paranoia in the party would only increase. Obama has a similar problem. Secret American military programs are larger than the combined militaries of the next five countries. That is America's secret military program. Meanwhile fatherland security has grown so large so fast that even former CIA and National Security Directors did not know about programs they were responsible for. Many of these programs are being run by Americans extremists who have agendas that are similar to the attitude of their Chinese counterparts. How often are you spied upon? Guaranteed many if not all your phone conversation have been monitored or even stored somewhere. We do not know how massive this 'fatherland security' has grown. We know virtually every overseas conversation is recorded or monitored somewhere. Who is overseeing all this? Apparently no one. That sounds so much like the problems that Hu and the Chinese Communist party is suffering from. Hu is here so that two leaders can establish enough trust so as to be able to keep their own extremists in line. Honesty, understanding, and trust between leaders is essential to any constructive relationship. Extremists on both sides will so often do anything to destroy that. |

The other questions boiled down to "why is China making toys like ours?" |

Did you want those with or without lead. Let me know so I can send them the right ones.... |
China is the US's biggest importer of new citizens. Is there a lead test for citizenship?
|
Yea, we just weigh them at the border.

The China/America border?
