Ray Stevens can kiss my ass!

I used to like him and his songs. This just makes me hope he'll diaf. |
God Bless Ray Stevens!!! I'm gonna rush rite out and buy that song as soon as possible. I wish our Sheriff was more like Sheriff Joe. We should be supporting Arizona, instead of running them down. I don't have any problem people coming here to work and better them selfs, but they need to sign the guest book first.
God Save Arizona from The Federal Government!!!:us:: |

So in Sheldonland holding a different point of view is reason to wish death upon someone? Doesn't sound very tolerant.

Would it be acceptable to sing about peace, love, and tolerance and then also believe illegal immigration is a bad thing?
Seriously, you're offended by a senile guy singing a seriously crap song. I'm offended that money was actually wasted to record and produce that drivel, but ifhe wants to do it then more power to him. Your level of revulsion seems a bit over the top though. |

People who don't even know what they are talking about are what is wrong with America. I don't want you to die in a fire, though. That's just ƒucked up. Get some counseling. |
GO BANG A DRUM!

But in reality, here in AZ, I know damn well that they won't be asking for papers from anyone named Sven that has been stopped for a traffic violation. And Sheriff Joe will encourage it amoung his thugs. |
Yes, that is the thing you were told to be outraged about. The entire issue has been misdirected, in your mind, and replaced with a hypothetical scenraio designed to trigger your emotional reaction to an unrelated subject.

this is my favorite Ray Stevens song:
guess he goes by Ray Islam now though. |

It isn't this law. You've been misdirected.

Some points to note:
SB1070 will put more people in AZ jails. 10+ of those jails are privately owned Gov. Jan Brewer signed SB1070 with advice of several on her staff. Several of her staff are also lobbyists for and/or married to lobbyists for, drum roll please, the owners of those prisons. The more prisoners in those prisons, the more money the private owners make. The more money those private owners make, the more money they can fork over to the lobbyists. And just to add to the fun, most of the prisoners who have escaped from AZ jails in the last 10 years or so, including the 2 from 2 weeks ago, one of whom is still on the run with his cousin/fiance, escaped from privately owned prisons. |
So your objection to SB1070 really has nothing to do with fears about hypothetical racially motivated police action...but rather corporate/political corruption?
