Hard to figure out what they mean, with an IQ below 20 you don't get a lot of useful content.

Hobbit?

It is now little recognized that Hobbits seem to be the only people of Middle Earth that are golfers.

Indeed, the game of golf was invented (IIRC) during the battle of Greenfields, when - who was it - Bullroarer Took, I think, so huge for a hobbit that he could ride a horse - charged the goblins and knocked the head off their leader with a single swing of his club. The head flew through the air and went straight down a rabbit hole. Victory was secured and golf invented in a single stroke.

Owing to the Goblins' King being named Golfimbul.

And there's a canonical concomitant: golf wear... in hobbit green and yellow.
