Rape by Deception

wtf?
It's not like Israel is some backwards ass county. How can they do this? |
I, for one, welcome the new wryer glatt.
|
So wait, what? Does this mean if you bed a woman with 44DDs and wake/sober up to realize they were implants you were raped?
|
I think MArk Twain wrote a short story about a man who married an eskimo woman and when they slept together he discovered that she had made her butt look bigger by wearing padded underwear.
He demanded an annulment and returned her dowry ( a pile of fish hooks) but one hook was missing and there was trouble about this (maybe he was killed or banished or whatever) and the girl was miserable and in the spring she found the fish hook had gotten stuck in her padded underwear. I may be foggy on some details, there was a morality play in there somewhere. IIRC |
Hmm....I wouldn't be "that" surprised if that happened here in the US but based on sex change/transvestite reasons instead of religion/race.
|
Even then I don't think the rape charge would have a change even if the gender was lied about. The only lie that would make a rape charge in the US is "I'm over 18", and even then the minor would not be at fault.

This opens up a whole can of paybacks. Your SO leaves and you file for rape by deception because they said they'd stay forever. Or the guy or gal who swore there was no other when actually s/he had 6 other partners on a string - rape by deception. Of course there's always everyone's favorite - "I love you baby, and I'll respect you in the morning." Right. Rape by deception. How about, No, no! I'm not married." Liar! Rape by deception. The list goes on.
Frankly the decision by the Israeli court smacks of bigotry to me. |
Women, or men, who claim to have been deceived after they willingly had sex with someone who "wasn't who they said they were" are just stupid to have fallen for it in the first place. Just my opinion. Try not fucking everyone you meet, you might have better odds.

Gaining sexual favours by deception is a crime, at least here.
There was a great case ni the papers a few years back, some office drone stuck out with a secretary, but spent two years convincing her - through fake personas and such - that he was an Australian secret agent, and that it was in the national interest for her to assist him, and this developed into personal support and eventually sex. I obviously didn't care enough to remember the outcome, though, I was just so amazed that (a) someone would go to that much effort for one particular lay and (b) the woman fell for it - if she really did, and wasn't just playing along. I can see some genuine needs for this law - not of the 'you swore you'd marry me' deception but the 'Bill? Not Jim, the other twin/guy in mask etc?' sort of thing. |
Isn't wearing makeup a deception? Just about every woman is a rapist then.
|
Does "You said it was 10 inches!" count as deception?
