Damn. That's almost exactly how my dad died.

It breaks my heart to see yet another die from this. She was 38 with a husband and 3 sons. Inside of a year they went from the stereotypical family to this.

This is the 5th family in less than a year that I personally know has lost someone.

Its a blog of what happened. It starts in Aug and runs its course.

As far as I could tell, she died after a bone marrow transplant (I don't know what her original disease was). A CMV activation led to ARDS.

Her lungs became pulp, and she drowned from the inside.

ick. sad.
