For the majority of South Africans, the unregulated minibus taxis are the only option for public transportation. A system of hand signs has developed to signal these taxis. Artist Susan Woolf learned and published a booklet of them, which the Post Office used to issue a series of stamps.

It's okay SPUCK, it can be confusing...

Much like English, these signs can have double meanings. For instance, the top row can all be used in combination with the rows below.

Example: the porn director may use five fingers combined with the "OK" sign just below it, to communicate the next scene will have 5 sticks and 1 hole, more colloquially known as the Gangbang.
