Let's see the pics of your pets from 'back in the day'. The cat you had when you were just a kitteh yourself. The hound from when you were still a pup.

Here's Tuft. (because he had these little tufts of color on his ears, tip of tail, etc.)

If you cut them down to 12 inches, or less, you shouldn't have trouble posting them.

Thanks Bruce. As you can see I've deleted that post, so I'll try to repeat it with my Image Shack account which will hopefully rectify the situation. Sorry about that.

This is my old horse Sydney, early one morning in June 2006. On leaving the house I had spotted a pair of Mallards on the roof of the house next door so nipped back in to get my camera. Having taken a picture I just put the camera in my pocket and walked off to the farm. When I got there I found the old horse fast asleep so decided that a photo or two was in order.
Whilst he was 'carrying a little condition', as they say, he wasn't quite as corpulent as he looks. (Honest!)
I lost the poor old boy in Feb 2007 and still miss him. Just between ourselves, I dreamt about him last night.

Got it right this time, Bruce:)

That's OK, I was responding to you saying you were having trouble posting images. That said, pictures wide enough to not fit on the screen are a little annoying and take a long time for people to download on dial-up.

This is Jordy. He was picked up as a stray and taken to the local dogs' home as nobody claimed him. He spent six months there and I understand that he went to a family who couldn't devote the required time to him so they returned him to the home. I was told that he was sometimes left on his own and would occupy himself by re-arranging the furniture! It didn't take long for him to settle with us and he became a great companion. Unfortunately, he succumbed to joint disease as many Labradors do, and sadly had to be put down in 2001. He wasn't even eight years old, poor chap.

Monarch of all he surveys.

Thats a really nice lookin Lab!

Most of those I've seen in recent years seem to have lost their regal features in favor of more muscular builds. At the trials anyway.

Wonderful eyes!

Pleased to hear that, Gravdigr. He was a great dog. His bed was near my bookcase and when he wanted to achieve just a little more comfort a back paw would emerge and he'd use the base of the bookcase to push against. The scratches are there to this day and I won't polish them out.

Gone, but not forgotten.

The Mighty Steed in a somewhat more dignified pose than is shown in Post # 6

Taken in 2002 or 2003; the Elderberry in the background is in flower so that would make it July. It's from a scanned print so the quality isn't A1.

He never really disposed of his winter coat until early May and would start to grow it again towards the end of August. Happy days.:sniff:
