I find 'Cod Latin' quite amusing and inventive, so I'll start you off with these three:

In loco parentis: My dad's a train driver.

Sodomy non sapiens: Buggad if I know.

Illegitimi non carborundum: Don't let the bastards grind you down

Over to you, Ladies and Gents.

cod + latin leads me to ancient Roman fish sauce = garum

Cave canem - cave of the dog

Hm, this thread is already the 7th hit for "Cod Latin" on google, so I guess the phrase isn't widely known.

are these commonly used latin phrases that are mis translated, or do you invent both sides of the equation?

i got the impression both, although the first is more common

Apparently the Latin for "I will buttfuck you in the mouth" is "No Matches Found"

Either/or, really. That said, the genuine Latin with spoof translation probably has the greater potential to amuse.
