We got bageled
Is this a local phenomena, or does it exist elsewhere? Instead of egging a house or TPing, kids get bags of leftover bagels from behind the local bagel place and pitch them at your yard etc.
It's only funny until you have to pick them up. We had a 30 gal. garbage can full of bagels and part of another at the curb this morning. A neighbor saw teenage boys getting back into their car as they drove off. |
When did you get bageled? New Year's Eve?
No, the night before - New Years Eve Eve - so to speak.
I've never heard of that. But I have to say, I'd still prefer it over toilet paper or eggs.
Never heard of that before - in NM they still use t.p. - wouldn't a bagel cause damage if it was stale?
These were stale only in that they were end-of-day bagels.
What did you do to deserve that, then? confiscate their iPods?
I think you must have pissed off the Jewish Street.
Dar, if you're Jewish, it makes it a hate crime. Call the ACLU.

I do wonder, though, if they were somehow showing off for one of the darlets. |

You know, if you're gonna throw stuff at someone's place, at least throwing something that ends up feeding the birds is sorta Green.
Where else is this fad going on? Will this result in bakeries having to monitor their stale goods receptacles? I wonder when the first lawsuit will hit... :headshake |

I wish someone would bagel my house. I could use the free dog and chicken food.
Gather 'em up, donate 'em to the local soup kitchen, and take a tax deduction for 2009, since it was new years eve, eve. ;)
