Don't take 'em camping. At least, not unless you want to be woken up at gunpoint by the federales:

To be fair, they are also looking for northern drug traffickers as well, who are leaving bagel packages, Molson beer cans, speaking French, and playing Celin Dion music.

That would be after the fact, no? What would be the indicators of possible drug trafficking beforehand? Something more along the lines of prevention.

Exactly Dana. I read an article from the online version of Time magazine about drug cartels hanging out in California forests.
It described weapons, booby traps and pot plants as the really good indicators.

It also went on to say that Arnold ( the governor ) is shutting down the national forests preventing access and so anyone there would be trespassing and subject to search.
