I approve of multiple warheads on missiles. It is like carpooling, and so reduces the greenhouse gas emissions associated with nuclear anihilation.
|
What with nuclear winter following an all out "nucular" war, some greenhouse gases wouldn't come amiss.
|
That one worked really well. Just like in the brochure!
That could ruin North Korea's whole day. |
Looks peaceful enough to me. Great image.

I have visited this site for years and love the cellar pics. I had to join today to clear something up.
That photo is NOT time lapsed...the warheads come in at a huge speed of mach 20 or there abouts. There is so much kinetic energy in a warhead alone that even without a bomb load, they can be used as weapons! When they hit the water, they create a 600 ft tall plume. I used to work at a company that make the equipment that tracked the rocket and warheads during tests. Someone at work had a pic that looked like that. I asked if that was a time lapsed photo of the reentry vehicles...he then explained how it was a snap shot... |
maybe just a slow exposure in low light. you can see that the clouds have tooo much definition for it to be true time lapse.

Thanks for the info blkfrd, that's always welcome... so are you. :D
