You know, it's bad enough that women get raped, but when another woman orchestrates that rape, it's beyond the pale.
Regardless of why she was doing it, it's disgusting anyway. |
Thoughts in no particular order of importance:
I spent a year in Diyala province, in and around Muqdadia. I know how the police conducted questioning while I was there from 2004-2005. I would question the validity of the information without more confirmation or perhaps from another source. Not, saying that this wouldn't or didn't happen. I would be curious to find out how many of the police are some of the same that I knew. The Sunnah group that she is allegedly connected to, did give us and the local Iraqi authorities the most trouble in my time there. Very bad people from my viewpoint. This is NOT representative of the vast majority of the people in Iraq. I can't put my finger on it, or figure how to express it right now....I'm going to mull on this for a while...there is certainly something else with this story. There are people in the world who believe that the ends justify any means. Who have no real conscience as you are I know it. I personally believe there is only one way to deal with this sort of person. Sometimes the third world gets this one right, they kill them quickly. . |

Yea Bruce, that's what I'm saying.

Joe, thank you for the voice of reason.
There are some sick people in this world. All nationalities, all religions, both genders. If this story is true it is sickening. Same as the sanctioned rape of women in places like Darfur. Same as the female officials in Nazi death camps. It's not specifically a Muslim thing, or a Middle Eastern thing. Twisted people take advantage of chaos where and when they find it. |

The total number of rapes and connected suicide bombers are based on Iraqi math. It was probably less than 5. They tend to over estimate or exaggerate.
Ansar al Sunnah is a salafist group. They are major "players" with ties and were at one time under the umbrella of AQIZ (Al Qaeda in Iraq). They post a lot of videos of their activities. All most forgot; they claimed responsibility for the DFAC (dining facility) suicide bombing in Mosul. http://www.wat.tv/video/ansar-al-sun...irf2_ijd3_.htm |
