Car dancing

It's a beautiful day, and you're feeling good. A song comes on the radio. Suddenly, you don't care about the other motorists or the pedestrians you pass: you start car dancing. You sing along and dance in your seat. Your head bobs around, you click your fingers, you drum along on your steering wheel.

What song have you done this to lately?

This morning I was car dancing to

I believe in miracles
Where ya from
You sexy thing (you sexy thing you)

Where did you come from baby
How did you know I needed you
How did you know I needed you so badly
How did you know I'd give my heart gladly?

I love car dancing!

"The Bad Touch"

Ha-Ha! Well now, we call this the act of mating
But there are several other very important differences
Between human beings and animals that you should know about

I'd appreciate your input

Sweat baby sweat baby sex is a Texas drought
Me and you do the kind of stuff that only Prince would sing about
So put your hands down my pants and I'll bet you'll feel nuts
Yes I'm Siskel, yes I'm Ebert and you're getting two thumbs up
You've had enough of two-hand touch you want it rough you're out of bounds
I want you smothered want you covered like my Waffle House hashbrowns
Come quicker than FedEx never reach an apex just like Coca-Cola stock you are inclined
To make me rise an hour early just like Daylight Savings Time

Do it now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now

Love the kind you clean up with a mop and bucket
Like the lost catacombs of Egypt only God knows where we stuck it
Hieroglyphics? Let me be Pacific I wanna be down in your South Seas
But I got this notion that the motion of your ocean means "Small Craft Advisory"
So if I capsize on your thighs high tide, B-5 you sunk my battleship
Please turn me on I'm Mister Coffee with an automatic drip
So show me yours I'll show you mine "Tool Time" you'll Lovett just like Lyle
And then we'll do it doggy style so we can both watch "X-Files"

Do it now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now

You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel

When I was a young man, I had to kick and scratch and claw
Now it's like top gun in the Old West, everybody wants me to draw
If I had known it would be like this I might have given it a second thought
But if someone had told me to give it up, it's a line that I wouldn't have bought

Look at me
I'm the great white hope
Can't you see
I'm up against the ropes
Don't you know
It's so hard to cope
When you feel
Like the great white hope

Now you've paid your money you're sitting in your ringside seat
And I know that some of you out there, might wanna see the champ get beat
If I had known it would be like this I might have given it a second thought
But real life sure isn't like school, there's some lessons that just can't be taught

Look at me
I'm the great white hope
Can't you see
I'm up against the ropes
Don't you know
It's so hard to cope
When you feel
Like the great white hope

It's actually not that sudden. My disinterest in other motorists has been steadily growing for quite some time now.

Hmmm, does disinterest grow, or decline? If you are disinterested, you have no interest. You can't have more of "no interest" only less interest than you previously had, which, if it's "no interest" you can only keep going at the no interest pace because you can't go below zero, interest-wise.

Interested? ;)

Oh Shawnee, I forgot to tell you. My husband and I played the (your) radio game on Friday night! We played the manual paper version however, where you write the subject down (not disclosed) the other person writes random lyrics down that they know, then all is revealed. We had a great time...thanks for the new game idea. My husband and I love music and different games,so it was fun for both of us.

Let me go see if any of our funny results are still lying around anywhere:

k here's one (these were written out).....

My subject (undisclosed): George Bush on cocaine treats foreign affairs like...

Answer from my husband(written out lyrics from the band Elbow): A tall gentle boy turns into a terrible toddler and the kids gather around to see what's inside. I think when he's drinking he's drowning some riots. What's my friend trying to hide?

Here's another one:

My subject (undisclosed): An example of my moral conviction lies in...

My husbands answer (I forget who he said the lyrics were by): Brother...My cup is empty and I haven't got a penny. If I've no more whiskey I have to go home.

That game is fun on paper, and a great answer to Friday night boredom. :)

Thaaanks!!

Sweet!

The one that always used to get me car dancing was Christina Aguilera's Dirrty. I used to have to watch my foot on the accelerator, as I found myself pumping it in time with the music.

I like the paper version of the Radio Game (I used to play that myself back when I had a car btw). If I worked for a company that still shut up shop when the computers went down I'd make a note of it. We used to play great games when I worked ina Call Centre. Sadly (or probably happily) there's plenty to do at EEA even during a full-on powercut.

Genie in a Bottle gets me going, too!

You've piqued my interest and even though my interest has peaked, it hasn't reached its nadir.

Remember this witty exchange?
"I ask for NOTHING."
"And you shall receive it in abundance."
