British Womens Breasts

So I discovered BBC America on my cables 'On Demand', and after watched the last of the5 episodes of Coupling available, I searched around for other BBC programs.

There were two episodes of an 'investigative' series, one in which British women complain about their small breasts, and one in which they complain about their large breasts.

The claim made by the latter program was that the average bust size of British women is 36C and that on average British women have the largest breasts.

I have found another source for this claim.

Quote:

The average bra size in the UK is now 36C, whereas just a decade ago it was 34B.
This week, it was announced that in response to demand, Marks & Spencer's is to stock J-cup bras for the first time. Previously, its lingerie department went up to G, but it will now offer GG, H, HH and J.
Earlier this year, Bravissimo, a bra company that specialises in larger sizes, introduced three different K-cup bras - in response to customer demand. At this rate, we'll all reach the next millennium with figures like Jordan's, except our breasts will be natural, not silicone.

Hope those biggies don't drag down the stiff upper lips. ;)

We leave the men to take care of the stiff stuff.

I was disappointed to see that this thread was not in the Quality Images forum.

Not to be a wet towel on you guys' fantasies, but aren't breast sizes going up only because everyone is getting more obese?

Breasts are, after all, mostly fat tissue, right?

Of course then you have the issue of places like Victoria's Secret which merely seemed to change all the tags and make people think that their breasts were larger by taking what previously fit and putting one size smaller tag on it forcing one to buy the next larger size when in fact you never wore that size in your life, ever.

That's fairly common practice in the clothes industry generally I think (with ladies clothes). If you buy two pairs of women's trousers from two different shops, or even two different designers, they may both claim to be a size 10, but they'll be completely different.

I learned the hard way by buying my wife lots of sexy underwear, I have bought them for her for years. With in the last few years though it really seems like VS has changed the tags as she had to return a bunch of stuff I got her.

You know, that's so true. I've worn a size 10 for years, but now I can't hardly fit into them, had to go to the 12's. They must be making clothes smaller these days. Funny, those intimate items have changed their sizes as well. Yet I wear the same shoe size. How weird. ;)

Let's just hope we won't run out of the (standard western) alphabet anytime soon. :right:
