Which is it?

I got a call from a pollster this morning saying he was with the College Republicans or some such. He asked me which of three items was the most important thing to focus on during the election. The choices were all social conservative bugaboos, like liberal Professors stifling debate etc... I told him none of his issues were relevent and that most Republicans should be voting Libertarian by now. My question is are the Republicans this out of touch with reality or was it a Democratic dirty trick call emphasizing GOP stupidity? Oh, btw which of you clowns put my name on their list?

Sounds like a college kid writing a paper. Who the hell cares about liberal professors outside of students and the professors themselves?

The idiots who call Rush and Hannity. Seriously. At least half the calls they get are from idiots or their parents bitching about teachers/professors trying to indoctrinate them. Seriously? you're at a university, what do you expect? Do the work, get the grade, and get out.

BTW, I agree with Clodfobble - it's a kid from the school writing a paper or an article. I wouldn't put it past the young Republican party or something like that though. They have to raise support by hitting hot buttons. The average college student doesn't have a clue about the actual benefits/consequences of certain international activities but they know that certain professors are too hard on them.

That's what I should have asked the caller!

The whole thing just didn't ring true. It seems pretty weak for a poli-sci paper as well. The reason I was thinking dirty trick is that the worries were so remote from war, energy, and economy. I guess a college kid living off Mom and Dad could be that insulated.
