The USB Mouse Jiggler is a USB device that 'jiggles' your mouse around every few minutes so the sleep mode or screen saver doesn't come on. Now you can sleep at work and still look like you're working.

The USB pencil sharpener. Thankfully, unlike other power-draining pencil sharpeners, this device uses low-power consumption. No irritating installation procedure, this one's plug n' play.

But does it have Vista drivers???

My cousin gave me a USB-powered heated coffee mug for Christmas.

People with Vista, don't need no stinkin' pencils. :haha:

Yeah.
They need an OS that actually works and doesn't bug them about every other entry or request.

With such a device, one could bypass all HIPAA requirements for auto-logoff/lockdown.

Which, of course, people don't realize are there for your own protection. Since HIPAA also requires individual logons and audit trails, if your computer didn't logoff/lockdown when you walk away (leaving your self logged in for some reason) then anybody could do anything with your "name" on it.

This was a huge source of entertainment among employees when I worked tech support. You locked your system manually every time, even if you were just turning your chair a bit to look at something on your neighbor's screen, or you were in a world of hurt.

I can only imagine what might happen if you got up to use the bathroom...

If you're going that route, then you should set the Device Connect sound to the diner clip from When Harry Met Sally.

A great new Electronic Gadget, this Digital USB Microscope is a fully functional magnification tool that is plugged directly into a computer so that you can see magnified objects at up to 200X. Added to this, as you are looking at the magnified objects you can take either 1.3 Mega Pixel Still Shots, or 1.3 Mega Pixel AVI Movie Clips for storage and later viewing. All of this is possible due to the user friendly and powerful computer software that comes packaged with each purchase. As an added bonus, this high end Digital Microscope gets its power directly from the USB port, meaning that you never have to worry about batteries. It is a perfect item for use in the classroom, close product inspection, or just for plain fun.
