April 12, 2008: Pedal Powered Wheelchair
At first I thought it was a bad joke.
Wouldn't someone be in a wheelchair because they couldn't use their legs? According to the UK distributer; Quote:

does it come with one of those big long flexible flag staffs and baseball card for the spokes?
|
Just don't push him down a hill unattended. It could become ugly quick.
|
No problem, he's got brakes.
|
I just got this crazy image in my head of a couple of kids at the family reunion pushing Aunt Ethel, 100 yrs old, really really fast in this wheelchair/pedal rehab thing, and her skinny 100 yr old legs pumping up and down like crazy.:lol2:

A few bike designs for wheelchair riders who can't work the pedals themselves
Kinda a sidecar for spudcon's Heck's Grandpas:

Hey. well researched Imigo.
I love the idea that sporty types can include disabled loved ones. |
She's watching the GPS, so they don't get lost.
