Is it me, or is there something wrong with the net this morning?
 

I've been having problems accessing a variety of websites today, mainly ones based on the East Coast of the United States. I even tried to do a speed test, and couldn't use any servers on the east coast, the test would hang on the ping test, but when I hit a server toward the midwest, it worked okay.

Anybody else noticing this?

I had real trouble earlier on today - youtube and eBay were painfully slow and an attempt to look up a postcode (Royal Mail's website) made me give up.

The Cellar is slow today because the IotD of bin Laden as a young boy in Sweden is being Reddit'd. I am working to correct the problem.

I couldn't get on the net or get my email from Comcast, before I left at 9 this morning. Tonight everything is hunky dory, but I don't know where the problem was.
