Sore Throat
 

I've had a sore throat with swollen throat glands for a good five days now and everything it seems to go away (my throat gives out etc) it will get worse the next day I wake up.

I've been drinking chamomile tea, gargling salt water, and drinking orange juice (this doesn't seem to work), and while the tea and salt water relieve the pain for a little bit, it will come back after a few hours.


I don't think I have strep throat or anything since I haven't had any other symptoms except chills and headaches but those went away Saturday morning.


Any suggestions? Keep in mind I don't have access to a lot of herbal remedies.

You'll have to forgive me if I doubt your assessment that it isn't strep. Go see a doctor. Doesn't your university have a free student health center?

The reason I don't think I have strep is because my friend who has the same symptoms already saw a doctor and came back negative. We do have a free service at our university and I will probably go in anyways after my class today for any help since it is getting really annoying.

But darnit, my throat is getting pretty sore, too, and not from uttbay-uckingfay inway ethey outhmay.

I went in and I don't have strep, just that the combination of a cold, cold weather (-30 windchills), LJ's buttfucks, and draining from the nose has been giving my throat hell.

yeah, jinx never falls for that shit either. no matter how many afflictions are scientifically proven to actually be caused by semen deficiency, she never believes it could be what's ailing her.

Sorry to hear you're unwell, jinx. I don't have any personal experience with lumberjim's problem, but I have a ton of spam I could forward to him full of "scientific claims" to be able to solve his "deficiency" that's causing problems for you.
