Evel Knievel was my hero when I was little. My folks even got me a bicycle done up in Evel Knievel garb to look like a motorcycle, fake gas tank and all. That was probably a mistake -- I used to jump it off flights of stairs, ramps, etc. By all rights I should already be dead several times over.

Apparently, Matthew McConaughey is going to play Evel in an upcoming movie.
