This is a terrific series (you know if you caught the first round) that uses historic research and dna testing to trace peoples pasts.

Being a big Chris Rock fan, I was excited to see he was in for round two. Check out this promo/profile clip. Its pretty cool.

I think it would be amazing to figure this stuff out. My dad has just started going through some of his parents' stuff and we have some slave ownership documents and Union army photos. I know the farthest back we find is living in North Carolina then moving out to Kentucky, Illinois. How are we all tangled up in this "old weird America"? It's really fascinating.

The series starts on Weds. 2/7.
