My printer wont feed

I don't know what to do. The printer start to feed then it signals a paper jam. the paper is clean and smooth there is nothing jammed in side the printer, and it appears clean. I don't want to take it apart if I don't have to. It is a Lexmark x2350 all in one. PLEASE HELP!!!:comp1:

Try wetting the roller with a lil spit - mght be a build-up of "paper dust" and the roller just isn't catching - Of course I know nothing of such things other than I have aprinter and that happens occassionally.

Try turning off, unplug from wall and computer. Let it set awhile. Drink a brew. Try the SOB again.

You could try reinstalling the printer.

If you don't know too much about PC's and printers, that's probably the best idea because you are merely installing information over that which is already there.

All you need to do is accept the suggestions on installation because I presume you didn't choose a particular folder in which to place the printer originally.

It sounds like a mechanical problem not software from the description.

While working as a desk clerk in a university library, unjamming the printers was a regular task of mine.
Check for a second piece of paper concertinaed right in amongst the rollers.
Check that your paper is the correct 80 grams per meter stuff.
Power off, wait, power on.

Other lessons from university computer maintenance:
Do not use scrap notepaper in a printer.
Do not glue aluminum foil to paper and attempt to print on that.
Do not force a CD into a zip drive.
Do not insert biscuits into a floppy drive.
The CD tray is NOT a drink holder.

Seriously. All these were done. I wasn't present for the biscuit one or the CD drink holder one, but I can vouch for the others personally.
