Last visit: N/A
I was scrolling through the Members List and noticed that under the "Last Visit" column, some are listed as N/A. Why N/A and not a date?
Maybe N/A because they have never visited. But maybe, maybe they lurk. Lurk, and hold on to that registered account, just in case.
Those members choose to use invisible mode. It's an option in the user control panel. It means others can't see you when you are logged in. But they can see your posts.
Can one post in that mode? Not that I want to use it, but if my life as a secret agent takes off, I may need to get more "stealty."
Yes. You can post in that mode.
Thanks.
That's not true, stealth will still show up in that column. I think you'll find the last post for the N/As was before the latest version vBullitin was installed.
Bruce, you just posted, but are listed as last visit N/A.
Maybe I don't understand what you are saying. If you sort the list by "posts" so the most active users are all on the top page, you see a lot of them are N/A but they are active members. (But they were here before the latest version of the software.) |
im in stealth mode. do i show up as n/a?
yes
When I go and look at it mine are up to date. The only N/As I see are people who's last post was back in like '02.
Check that, I just checked LJ's and got N/A. I stand corrected. |
you also have to keep in mind that you're a moderator, and have special powers. you can read deleted posts, for example.
That gets old after a while. There are reasons that people delete their posts.
