"Oh, these are just some people in your neighborhood..."
http://www.familywatchdog.us/
Not too many near me in Scottsdale, AZ but plenty near my office in Phoenix. And we are near a lot of schools. Not too bright but what can they do? |
I wouldn't worry; they put people on the registry for everything from rape to using nudity in a political demonstration. I doubt that most of those people are a real danger.
|
I clicked on the "Convictions" buttons for the ones I saw and most were for sexual assault, rape and other crimes of that nature.
Only a few were for public lewdness, etc. |
Oh my god! There are many in my neighborhood and a two on my street! :worried:
|
They're pretty spread out around here. Only five living in our area. Probably a lot more in, or rather under, the cornfields...
|
Why are they allowed out of jail in the first place?
|
Because they weren't given life sentences.
|
Six in our old neighborhood, and only two in our new neighborhood. We're moving on up! I do wish they'd include the year of the offense.

I guess my question should have been why are sex offenders given a sentence less than life.
|
Well. Not to get into the debate of whether kiddy fiddling or rape deserve a life sentence.....not all sex offences are serious ones. Not all sex offenders remain dangerous to the public.

I've got one yellow, 2 blue (sexual battery), and 1 green (other offenses) on my map. |
And one proper spanking in your near future! rowr!
