Easter Eats.
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/240/4...3a40aca452.jpgI had a boneless chicken, stuffed with crawfish dressing. A romain salad. From here Via Sams club. Was ok. bb

crawfish dressing?
Bruch with: little ham & roast beef sandwiches; fresh roasted asparagus; banana/strawberry compote, and cinnamon rolls. |
Boneless honey ham baked w/ pineapple slices and juice.
Green bean casserole with the fried onions and mush/soup. Mashers and gravy. Dinner rolls. Deviled eggs. Key Lime Pie or bar cookies for dessert. |
Brunch at church. A light collation of sundry pastries. The deviled eggs ran out before I got to the table, so one colored hardboiled egg of a batch that was quite difficult to peel, green beans with an oil dressing and capers (No, I don't know why. Beans as resurrection symbol I hadn't heard of?), one choc. bunny and one marshmallow Peep bunny.
Came home, ate more, and watched the Disney 1951 Alice In Wonderland that happened to be on the tube. Now I get why there are internet porn pictures of Alice -- they drew her cute, and the red lipstick doesn't hurt at all... seems to have moved the hearts and the pencils of certain pervos. |
Cadbury Cream Eggs (many)
|
Roast leg of lamb. First time making it. It was yummy! :yum:
|
Steak, fried potatoes, sweet potatoes, and asparagus.
And Chocolate mousse with strawberries and whipped cream for dessert. |
Ugh. I'm jealous of all of you. We had microwaved corn dogs for lunch, and then I had leftover pasta for dinner. Would have loved to do something nicer for either meal but there wasn't enough time for lunch and Mr. Clodfobble had to drive to Houston and back in the evening. His dinner was a McDonald's drive-thru in Giddings.
