HTML
The "posting rules" box at the lower left says "HTML code is Off".
As I remember it was a spamming issue that caused this to be turned off. But there's a html button at the top of this reply box and isn't the whole quote thing and youtube format, HTML? |
If I understand you correctly, Bruce, we can still use vB code. It functions similarly (as least, in the way I use it) to HTML.
|
Then the button (<>) that says, "Wrap[html] tags around selected text" really doesn't. It uses vB code to simulate the same result?
|
If you put in HTML on a forum that allows it, it'll be interpreted, so the editor button is left as a way to post HTML without it being interpreted. We don't need the button.
|
But one thing I've never figured out--how do you do strikethrough? I've seen other people do it but I can't get it to work. (I've never cared enough to post about it though.)

Back in the day.... I asked the same question. This was the answer then, but without html enabled, it won't work:
<strike>This is the text displayed in strikethrough style.</strike> And this text is not. |
Oh, I see.. I thought there was a [vbulletin] code that I just couldn't find.
|
No, I figured out how to do the strikethough about 3 minutes and 17 seconds before HTML was disabled.
