There also will be an exhibit suggesting that belief in evolution is the root of most of modern society's evils. It shows models of children leaving a church where the minister believes in evolution. Soon the girl is on the phone to Planned Parenthood, while the boy cruises the Internet for pornography sites.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.. this is NOT the way to get people to see what Christianity is really about.
This is just.. stupid.

In a way I'm glad... sure helps me and mine out a LOT.
Hell, we may start field-trips.

cowhead 03-27-2007 08:44 AM

well.. think of it as an evolutionary split.. the people who don't remember or study/understand their (or our collective) past are doomed to repeat it. say hello to the neanderthal .. oh wait...

and just like our theoretical ancestors we'll just have to outthink and outwhit them... sure it'll take a while, but things like this generally do

But the Rev. Bill Henard, senior pastor of Lexington's Porter Memorial Baptist Church, said that Sunday school classes and other groups from his church are likely to visit.

"I think people will enjoy ... being able to see a different side from what some scientific findings have shown," he said.
Funny.

I wonder if it has a pi=3 exhibit?

Sheldonrs 03-27-2007 11:29 AM

And to think I was cheering for Spencer Tracy last night watching "Inherit The Wind"!

God save us from evilution!

So having a whole family descended from one couple is nothing new.

In one exhibit, you can be swallowed by a fish and stay in its belly for three days. The "Resurrection Test" is self-explanatory. The whole family can go to the strip club, called "Resisting Temptation". The lap dances for little Billy are fantastic.

Especially after Billy has visited the 'Water Into Wine: Kids Kan Do It, Too' interactive exhibit.

Since it's Kentucky - "stick your dick in and guess if it's Mom or Sis"

TheMercenary 03-27-2007 01:16 PM

I wonder if they have that picture of Jesus riding a brontosaurus on the wall. :D

"When the Gallup Poll asked people about their views on the subject last March, 47 percent of Americans polled said that God created humans pretty much in their present form some time in the last 10,000 years. That belief was strongest among those with less education, regular churchgoers, people 65 and older, and Republicans."

ugh. No wonder I don't believe this crap.
