Those are some interesting pictures. Are the trees (in the close-ups) alive or dead?
|
The close-ups are dead.
Did you look at the link? There are a lot more. |
gosh, if i had known they had dead trees in kissimmee, i would have visited a long time ago.
:D |
Neat textures man. Thanks for sharing.
|
What kind of trees?
|
:greenface trees
|
There are some live ones in there zip.
Oaks mostly. |
I think the bark is still alive even on the closeup ones. To paraphrase Monty Python, it's not dead yet!
It's probably not getting better, though. |
Yeah, some of them are alive, the close-up that is brownish is almost aliveish.

But nobody knows what kind of trees they are....bummer.:( |
True. I should have said that I think that there's still living tree in the bits that still have bark.

Oak...hmm. Could be... live, swamp, white or California white. Really interesting wood grain, I'd love to see some quarter sawn.
But anyway, the shapes are bizarre ....make really nice pictures....rather spooky under a moon. |
