Failed Russian Booster Explodes in Orbit
 

The space debris situation just became a bit more dire with this event over Australia on the 19th.
The email I got on this from Spaceweather.com was entitled "Major Breakup Event Over Australia". For a minute, I thought it was about Sunsparkz and her ex-beau.

I saw this on the news. Apparently lots of people thought the martians were comming. Lots of space geeks very excited etc.

Such a relief to know it was just more faulty russian equipment. ;)
