Otterly Cool
 

Hi all,
Took these from our hotel room in Monterey. Range about 30 meters. Using a Canon G6 PowerShot. Standard lens set up.

That is a crab on this happy otter's chest, and while I like crab myself, I:
A)was rooting for the otter in this entire tragic tale (A Tale of Two Claws?) and
B)MUCH prefer otters to crab in terms of watching.

Isn't that sweet? Otter takin' Crabby for a ride...how cute.

Nah... He's just givin' him kisses.

I've had a few of those kinda' kisses in my time. Good times.

Sorry to disappoint, but that is your average, run-of-the-mill Greater Black Backed Seagull. :)

Didn't you know?...... in California, all birds are mighty Eagles, all dogs are noble Wolves, all snakes are Anacondas and all people are movie stars. :lol:
