Settle an argument for me please

What color would you say my eyes are? This is apparently cause for heated debate in my family. Posted two photos to try to account for inaccuracies in the camera.

those are definitely hazel - mine look somewhat the same - and change colors depending on mood and what I'm wearing.
|
hazel as well
|
I said Hazel, too for the same reasons. Mine are a bit more green and the outside rim color is blue, but otherwise very similar.
(I tend to play up the greenness:D) |
From about.com:
Hazel A hazel eye.It has been asserted that there is difficulty in defining the color hazel as it sometimes considered to be synonymous with brown and other times with green.[22] Hazel eyes have also been described as light brown or yellowish brown[23] They are the product of moderate amounts of melanin.[4] Hazel has been subjectively classified as a lighter shade of brown.[24] A number of studies using three-point scales have assigned "hazel" to be the medium-color between brown and blue.[25][26][27][28][29][30][31] Hazel is sometimes grouped with green.[17][25][27][30][32] Hazel eyes have also been described as being equivalent to green, blue/gray, and yellow combined with brown.[33] Confusing, but I'd say hazel, too, as the catch-all multicolored eye term. |
Red. You need Visine. ;)

hazel

Hazel.
The pictures are quite scary though - I hope I don't have nightmares :worried: ! |
Hazel - who wins?
|
My mom, I suppose.
My drivers' license says blue. My father says blue. I say green. My mother, who I think has the exact same eyes as me, says mine are hazel, but hers are brown. My aunt says definitely not hazel, because hazel has more brown in it. (Like my mom's, which she says are hazel.) My brother and my husband both say, "Bluish-greenish, I guess, whatever. Why do you care?" |
Hazel, same as mine.
|
There's definitely brown right around your pupil. the rest could be blue, green, or grey, and probably looks like each at times.
|
Hazel, same as me. They change a lot and seem to pick up more green if you are wearing green, or are under fluorescent light
|
i'd say hazel... but it's hard to tell without also seeing pictures of your breasts.
|
At first I was going to say blue since most of your eye is blue, but I understood hazel to be the color that changes and combines other colors so I went with hazel. But blue is pretty accurate.
