The Gingerbread man "need help"!! for my grandson!

Just a favor to ask from our Cellar parents/grandparents and other dwellers.

My grandson's class is tracking the travels of the "gingerbread man" aka in other stories as Flat Stanley. Anyway, my #3 grandson is in kindergarten and the teacher read them a book about a little fellow who goes on a trip through the mail to other places; enough said.

So.... if there are those of you out there who understand this story, my g/son's class hopes to get post cards from around the world from that old "G-bread man" about his travels, maybe he is keeping up with the garden gnomes who seem to get about.

Here is the catch, they need to recieve them by December 12th, and any mail or post cards should say something about "Hey I'm the Gingerbread Man and I am in ______ and having a great time!" Anything else you want to add is ok as long as we keep in mind these are kindergarten age kids

Here is the teacher's address, etc.

Stephanie Warnock
West Memorial Elementary
22605 Provincial Blvd
Katy, TX 77450

So, if you have a few old post cards send them in! This is better then being asked to buy some kids stale candy for a fundraiser isn't it?

My nephew's class did a Flat Stanley project last year and I participated.

Each student colored a Flat Stanley and mailed it to someone. That person mailed a letter to the class with a photo of them doing something with Flat Stanley. Then that person mailed Flat Stanley to someone else to do the same thing, over and over...

Every child got their Flat Stanley back and many of them had traveled to some interesting places!

Blain's Flat Stanley was the first person to sit on my filly's back.

We sent Flat Stanley to California--the teacher said that over the years he had been to all sorts of odd places. "Well," I said, "California is the oddest place I can think of." Specifically he went on rounds with an ex-cow-orker of mine who's now a farm animal veterinarian. ("What did your teacher think about the letter back from Dr. Martin?" "She said it was fascinating." "Oh, good." "Dad, what does fascinating mean?")

I will see if the kids can come up with something for you.

Wow, you guys really updated the Gingerbread man stories. In our gingerbread man story our hero's adventures teetered on the edge of a fox's nose.
