What sounds good for breakfast/brunch?

My choices are:

Pancakes with maple syrup
Brioche french toast with strawberries
Cheddar omelet
Chef's choice frittata (not sure what that is)

go for the French toast, and ask for maple syrup along with the strawberries.

I want waffles, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to settle for cereal.

Brioche french toast with strawberries <<<< whats that??? I know what French Toast is, but mine always tasted funky.

I had a boiled egg, tomatoes on toast and some bacon!!

I had some nice bakery bread with blood orange marmalade. If you can get it you should. It's very nice.

Blood . Indeed . Remember the blood when you are eating your 'nice bakery bread' .

Is this a Halloween-themed breakfast?

I did go with the french toast with strawberries and maple syrup, YUM. DuckNuts, brioche is very eggy, pastry-like bread. So, if you make french toast out of it, you basically egg yourself to death...but it's a wonderful death.

Oh so there goes my cholesterol?

BigV 10-24-2006 09:51 AM

leftovers... chili con carne with shredded cheddar, and some chocolate pudding. Coffee, of course.

one of my faves is to slice brioche and then instead of making french toast, put it into the waffle iron. yum!

bluecuracao 10-24-2006 03:22 PM

That's a great idea! I think I'll have that tomorrow morning. My niece gave me a Mickey Mouse waffle iron last Christmas, and I still need to break it in.

Haven't been able to try the waffle-ized brioche yet--the bakery has been selling out before I get there. :(
