First two links don't work for me. :(

Flint 10-20-2006 10:12 PM

d'oh!

the first two links attempt to resolve to these URLs:

http://the%20real%20story/

http://president%20bush%20signs%20mi...t%20of%202006/

because they are written as:

[ QUOTE=rkzenrage ] [ URL="The Real Story" ] http://web.amnesty.org/library/index/ENGAMR511542006 [ /URL ]

[ URL="President Bush Signs Military Commissions Act of 2006" ] http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/relea...0061017-1.html [ /URL ]

(reversed!)

here are the corrected links:

I like the terms of co-belligerents. It seems I'm long past due for going into hiding
And these are the people I invite first to parties. I need to re-think who I adopt as friends.
Since when was being a hostile belligerent illegal?
Ambiguous law-makers can go- themselves.
How is that for hostile belligerence?

There, there. I hear Cuba is lovely this time of year. ;)

I think I'm going to pre-order this

Maybe I'll do the same, mostly because I think the US is fucked no matter what happens in the next election. The Dems'll kill us as surely as the Rep's are, it'll just take longer to see it. I keep joking that I need to brush up on my Manderin since Singapore is now the #1 destination for scientists leaving the US (gleaned from some SciAm article I can't remember now), but now it doesn't seem like such a joke anymore...
